A Practical Guide to BEE and Ownership SchemesDate: 4th April 2007- Belmont Square Conference Centre, Cape Town. We explain how the scorecard works and how to earn points. We cover the calculations (net equity value, flow through principle, adjusted recognition of gender), collecting of data and the rating process. We explain why it may be necessary, and why it may not be necessary to do an ownership deal. We will be placing special emphasis on how to do an ownership deal.
