EconoBEE, together Routledge Modise in association with Eversheds will be presenting a short talk on the tourism charter.

We will be covering the following:

The tourism charter has now been gazetted as a sector code and must be followed by all members of the tourism industry.

This includes hotels and bed and breakfasts, restaurants and conference organisers, travel agents and tour operators amongst others.

The tourism charter has slightly different weighting and targets to the codes of good practice.

In particular we will discuss:

* Latest trends in BEE and verification
* Brief overview of the tourism sector code
* Companies are affected by the charter
* The tourism scorecards and how to comply.

The presentation will take place on 7th July at 12:30 to13:30 followed by a light finger lunch at the offices of Routledge Modise in association with Eversheds in Sandton.
