Impact on your current scorecard
The revised B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice will have a major impact on your current B-BBEE certificate.
Even though they have only been issued as a draft for comment, preparation needs to start immediately.

The revised B-BBEE Codes were presented by the dti minister on Tuesday. There is a 60 day period for public commentary and submissions. Some proposed changes are far reaching but it is important to know about these changes as early as possible, so that you can:
- Begin to take required action in your business for when the codes do come into operation, which is expected to be in the second half of 2013.
- Add to the submission if you have any viewpoint on the changes
Learn from the recognised leaders on B-BBEE:
- Understand the implications of the new codes
- Learn about the new strategies required to optimise your score
EconoBEE will be holding a series of briefings on the new codes and provide a submission to the dti.
About the presenter: Keith Levenstein has many years of experience in business and was one of the earliest BEE consultants. He is a sought-after public speaker, on radio and TV, supporter with great understanding of B-BBEE, not afraid to speak his mind.
