Our B-BBEE documentation and record keeping pack is a set of customised policies, and record keeping documents that will help you to manage the BEE process. In order to claim points on your scorecard you will need to keep records – records of employees, training of each employee, procurement and your suppliers scores, as well as enterprise development and socio-economic development contributions.

How will it help you?

• The policies we provide are really useful. It helps guide your company, but when shown to your customers prove your commitment to BEE and even impresses them!
• You will need to calculate a BEE score – but this is based on a fair amount of information. The only accurate way is to ensure that you document and keep those documents. For example in order to earn points on employment equity you will need to keep track of your employees by BEE classification and by gender. To earn points on skills development you have to keep records of all internal and external training given to each individual employee!
• You will need to store all documentation received that relates to BEE issues, e.g. if you make a socio-economic development contribution you will need a letter from the organization acknowledging the contribution. We provide sample letters and the file allows for a convenient way of storing the letters.
